Queen Emma Tower 7 is a 48 private room ward dedicated to the care of oncology patients. When patients come to Tower 7, they can be confident they are receiving the best care possible. Patients are given a comfortable room and surrounded by staff with extensive experience in oncology care, telemetry and the administration of chemotherapy.
In addition to providing patients with the most qualified physicians and nurses, Queens has earned a reputation for its state-of-the-art facility. Each patient’s room has a Hoana bed, which allows nurses to constantly monitor patient movements, respirations and heart rate. For patients who require increased monitoring and care, Tower 7 provides 9 cardiac-monitored beds.

Our staff conducts daily Care Conferences to discuss each patient's needs - how to meet their goals and establish measurable outcomes. At Tower 7, the well-being of each patient is important to us. That's why we provide a variety of patient services, including:
- Social work
- Nutritional services
- Enterostomal services
- Pastoral care
- Case management
- Infection control
- IV therapy
- Pain and palliative care services
- Respiratory care services
- Rehabilitation services (PT, OT, and speech therapy)
- Psychiatric consultations
- Radiation
- Pet therapy, healing touch if requested
THE QUEENS OHANA
You will become a part of our Queens Ohana. Not only do we care for our patients, we recognize the patient and family as a unit. Visiting hours are not restricted, and family members are free to spend the night. We provide apartment facilities for our Neighbor Island families. Free parking is made available for patients who have a 30-day length of stay. Families can enjoy our education room, available 24x7 with Internet access. Our kitchen provides a refrigerator, microwave oven and ice maker.
